A square given back to the city.
Place "Libération" is one of the main public spaces in the centre of Larache. A thoroughfare, a meeting point and a part of daily life, it gives shape to the urban fabric around it and is part of the identity of the city. Its redevelopment has given residents a space worthy of that role.
AHMA carried out the whole of the redevelopment: paving, street furniture, public lighting and planting. Work of this kind, in the middle of a city centre, calls for rigorous coordination between trades, constant attention to the quality of the finishes and a site organisation that respects residents and neighbouring businesses alike. The company delivered a coherent space, designed for daily use and for the long term.
The project illustrates AHMA's approach as a main contractor in building and civil engineering, active in public procurement across the Kingdom. By giving the people of Larache back a central place in their city, it confirms the company's roots in the region and its commitment to public space.
