In Agadir, the "Argana I" development brings together 113 homes, a nursery and two building-management offices within a single programme. Built for the Agence de Logements et d'Équipements Militaires, the operation gives families practical housing, alongside local amenities that lend the neighbourhood a genuine sense of shared life.
AHMA BTP ran the programme as a single package and took on the whole production chain, from structural works to finishing works. Dense housing of this kind demands rigorous organisation: consistent execution across repetitive works, close planning of plant rotations and systematic quality control. Every home was inspected and then handed over unit by unit, which is what makes the development consistent throughout.
The project illustrates what AHMA is: a main contractor able to carry large residential programmes on its own for public contracting authorities. It reflects the steadiness of its methods and its roots in the region, faithful to its motto: "Bâtir aujourd'hui, transmettre le savoir-faire de demain", building today, passing on tomorrow's craft.
