A place of worship of rare standing.
At the heart of the Hay Essalam district of Agadir, the great mosque and its outbuildings form a defining facility in the spiritual and social life of the neighbourhood. Built on behalf of the Ministère des Habous et des Affaires Islamiques, it gives the district a place of worship, of contemplation and of teaching.
AHMA completed the construction works on the great mosque and its outbuildings, awarded as a single package. The minaret, the prayer halls, the ornamental work and the ancillary premises required Moroccan craftsmanship to be combined with the technical standards that govern buildings open to the public. Taking over a site already in its completion phase further required rigorous coordination between the trades and constant attention to the quality of the finishing works.
The project reflects AHMA's purpose as a main contractor in building, committed to the Kingdom's major public contracts. Founded in 1998, the company builds every project to last and confirms its roots in the regions it helps to equip.
