The Grande Mosquée Mohammed VI in Agadir has formally welcomed its first worshippers, in an atmosphere of piety and fervour.
A major religious building in the Salam district, the mosque was built by AHMA on behalf of the Ministère des Habous et des Affaires Islamiques.
Its completion marks the culmination of a project the national press has followed since work began.
