An indoor pool for M'hamid.
In the heart of the M'hamid district of Marrakech, AHMA delivered an indoor semi-Olympic pool to the Ministère de la Jeunesse et des Sports, built for swimming all year round. Designed for teaching as much as for training, this local facility brings sport within reach of the people of the district.
Building an indoor pool of this kind called on some of the most demanding skills in the trade: faultless waterproofing of the pool and its surrounds, control of the humid conditions particular to swimming halls, precision in the hydraulic services and quality in the finishes in contact with water. AHMA coordinated every trade in order to deliver a building that met the contracting authority's requirements.
The project illustrates AHMA's purpose: to serve public procurement by building the facilities that people use every day. A main contractor rooted in its region, it holds every site to the same ambition, to build today and pass on tomorrow's craft.
