A residential development in the heart of Fès.
Set in the urban fabric of Fès, the "Dokkarat 2" residential development was built for the Ministère de l'Équipement et du Transport. This housing programme contributes to the city's residential renewal and illustrates the part public schemes play in shaping urban housing. Fitting it into a densely built environment made it a demanding project to run.
AHMA carried out the construction with the consistency of delivery that public housing schemes demand. The company organised the phasing of the works, the coordination of the trades and continuous quality control, from structural works through to finishing works. Running a site in a built-up setting called for strict management of the working areas, of deliveries and of disturbance to neighbours.
The project is part of AHMA's record as a main contractor working alongside public contracting authorities since 1998. It shows the company's ability to deliver residential programmes that meet the administration's requirements, and confirms its footing in cities across the Kingdom.
