Traditional education school in Taroudant.

Built on behalf of the Ministère des Habous et des Affaires Islamiques, the traditional education school in Taroudant is a new building, erected to house this form of teaching. The ministry is the contracting authority. The school gives the city a place of its own, where traditional education is passed on day after day.

The building is single-storey and its massing stays low. Its façades are finished in an ochre-tinted beige render. The crenellated parapets and the dark red dome that crowns the arched porch tie the school to Moroccan architecture. AHMA worked on this site, from structural works through to finishing works.
