Built for the Ministère de la Justice et des Libertés, the Centre de juge résident de Chichaoua (Chichaoua resident judge centre) places the judiciary at the heart of the town. It gives justice a place of its own, visible and recognisable, on a scale equal to the town where it sits.
The work was entrusted to AHMA under the heading "Construction du centre de juge résident de Chichaoua". The building is low, in red brick crowned with crenellations, and pierced at its centre by an arched gateway. The national flag flies above it, and the whole stands back from the street, behind a fence and its garden.
